We had our big ultrasound yesterday. I'm a little irritated because I don't think they did the right tests and I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back to baystate for another one but we did find out their genders.

Weekend in Lake George (originally posted on myspace on 7/7/07)
Well like I said in my last post we spent the weekend in Lake George and aside from the broken bone we had a good time. Here's the pictures...
When we first got there we took Kaden to Gooney Golf.
This picture cracks me up. It pretty much sums up the balancing act that comes with having multiple children.
Then, we went and walked around on the strip for a while. Here's the boys checking out the boats out on the lake.
Kaden and Daddy checking out the ducks
Kaden got another tattoo. He pick it out himself. It couldn't be more fitting. Haha
Then, we went back to the hotel pool.
The following morning we headed off for our infamous day at The Great Escape.
He loves the jail...should I be nervous?
My little card shark
Checking out the pigs
I know its a bad pic but it was the only one where you could see Kadens head over the steering wheel.
This ones blurry too (Shaun took it) but it's cute anyway.
All these where taken after breaking his collar bone.
Yes, Micah was with us but he spent the whole day sleeping in the stroller.
Back at the hotel
Sitting in front of the hotel Sunday morning.
At the arcade
I love the tongue
Mini golf again
Kaden and a cannon. Now that's scary.
The last time we were in Lake George we were walking past Fort William Henry and Shaun says to Kaden "The indians used to live in this area...Until the white man came and killed them all". It's going to be a miracle if this kid grows up to be normal.
Kaden was pointing up and saying "I want to do that". The kid broke his collar bone eating lunch and he wants to go hang gliding. Something tells me I'm gonna be spending a lot of time in the ER with him.

Guess I wont be winning the mother of the year award anytime soon! (originally posted on 8/6/07)
This weekend we went to Lake George and while we were at the Great Escape Kaden fell off a bench backwards during lunch and broke his collar bone! Ok, stuff like that happens. You can't prevent every little bump or bruise but I feel like the worlds worst mom because I didn't take him to the Dr for two days! He seemed fine. He fell off the bench, cried for a minute and then acted like nothing happened. Within 20 min he was on back on the rides smiling and laughing. I never even had to give him tylenol. The only reason I decided to make an apt for him was because he was saying it hurt when I picked him up and he wasn't putting a lot of pressure on the arm, but he was using the arm for everything else. I knew he was a tough little shit but I thought he would at least act like he was in pain if he broke a bone. Oh well, at least he's in a sling now and starting to heal. Poor little guy.
Btw- I'll post pictures from Lake George later.

Picture from Micah's first birthday (originally posted on myspace 7/12/07)
The Invitation
The first cake (First try fondant)
Micah in his birthday crown
The face cracks me up
With the tool belt aunt Shelly got him.
My little bob the builder!
Kaden took him out for a birthday spin in the Escalade
The party cake (store bought)
Checking out his cupcake. I choose white frosting because on Kaden's first birthday he had a reaction to the dye in the frosting (not from eating it but from rubbing it into his face) and he got all red and puffy. I didn't want a repeat performance so I decided on a dye free cupcake this time around.
He ate every last crumb.

Why am I here?
No, that was not some deep philosophical question as a result of an early midlife crisis. I'm here (on blogger) because my memory sucks! Twice now I've gonna out to dinner with old friends and realized, I don't remember high school. Apparently I don't even remember some of the people we routinely hung out with. So, I'm here because I'd like to have some sort of record of my children's childhood because apparently, I'm not gonna remember it. I figure I'll right everything down here and at the end of the year I'll order one of those blog books and some day when I finally have time I'll be able to scrapbook everything. I'm going to start transferring some old blogs from myspace over. So, for a few days at least everything will be pretty out of order but I've already had several blogs over there expire and I don't want to loose anymore.

Yesterdays Mishap
Yesterday Kaden managed to get a wiffleball stuck on his finger. The problem is he played with it trying to get it off himself for a while before he told me so, by the time I tried to get it off his knuckle was already swollen. I tried lathering his finger up with butter but no luck. I ended up destroying my good sewing scissors cutting it off.
When I was done he started trowing a fit because he wanted to play with his new ball.
You can't really tell from this picture but his little finger was all swollen.
