I'm sure if you have read any of my posts you know I'm the queen of typos. I cant spell, I can't type and I've never gotten through a single post without being interrupted multiple times. I do use spell check and reread all of my posts but I tend to read what I thought I wrote as apposed to what's actually written. Unfortunately, my posts have gotten even worse lately. Last week Asher puked all over the keyboard on my laptop and now half the keys don't work. You have no idea how many freakin' words have the letter O in them!!! I'll try my best to make my post readable but I'm not making any promises.

Like I said in my last post Saturday we decided to take a last minute trip to Hampton beach. The kids did amazingly well in the car...thank God for DVD players!
The plan was to wear the babies and use the double stroller as needed for the boys but I didn't realize Asher was still to small to be on Shaun's back with the ergo and I didn't bring the framed backpack so we ended up using both strollers which threw a bit of a wrench in our plans.
No makeup, my hair's a mess and just an all around bad picture of me but you can see the princess in a kangaroo carry in the hotsling.
They have a great playground right on the beach.
As I was taking this picture a guy says to me (in the thickest Boston accent I have ever heard) "Ya trying to start a baseball team". Haha
This is as close to the water as we got. When wearing the babies didn't work we just couldn't push the strollers down to the water and the car was to far away to carry the babies and Micah.
On a side note, my dream house would be one of those houses out on the rocks.
Finally, on the way home I gave the kids their I spy bottles to keep them occupied on the way home. Kaden had fun looking for everything, Micah just liked to shake the bottle.
Ok, as for why my husband's a pain the my rear...I had a place all set up for Saturday night so we could stay over. Shaun pitched a fit and said it would be to hard with the kids and adamantly refused. I wouldn't have stayed in a hotel, my kids wake up to early and would have had everyone around us up too, but this was a house. There was a last minute cancellation and the guy was willing to rent it to us CHEAP. It was within walking distance of everything and was further down the beach in an area that was much less crowed but Shaun wanted no part of it so we came home. Well, this morning he calls me and says he fells bad that the boys didn't even get to play on the beach and asks if I want to go back this weekend and stay over! There is no way I'm ever going to find a house up there on this short notice let alone one for $150. As much as I'd love to spend the weekend at the beach I had to tell him no way. Instead I think I'm going to get the boys a couple of fishing polls and we'll head up to one of the local state parks for some fishing, swimming and a picnic. Ugh, why cant men just realize we are always right and stop fighting us on everything. It would make like so much easier!

Friday morning I woke up and decided after being puked on for 2 weeks strait we all needed to get away. So Saturday morning we headed off for a day at the beach. Before we left I threw together a little something to keep the kids busy.
What you need
-Clear soda bottle (washed dried and wrapped removed)
-A bunch of random trinkets from around the house
-Salt or rice
-Take a photo of all the little trinkets (or make a list if your kids can read)
-Dump all the trinkets in the bottle
-Fill the bottle about 2/3 full with salt
-Glue the top on the bottle
I was planning on making them the bag style but I didn't have time. I'll post pictures when I get around to making those.

We took the kids to Sears on Saturday to have their pictures done. I think they came out pretty well considering later that day Micah and Taryn started throwing up.
She wouldn't crack a smile for anything.
Of course somebody had to have a knot on their head!
He's such a ham!
Not perfect but not bad either.
I HATE the cheesy cloud background! I'm kicking myself for not telling the girl to change it.
I saw this recipe last year and forgot all about it until Alison posted it recently.
What you need
Gallon Ziploc bag
Quart Ziploc Bag
In the Quart Ziploc bag mix 1 cup light cream, 3 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Put that bag in the gallon bag and add 1/2 cup rock salt and fill the bag 1/2 full of ice. Then, shake, shimmy and dance around until the inside bag is the consistency of ice cream. Take it out, rinse it off and enjoy!
The only problem is after 2 minutes the kids said it was too cold and they didn't want to do it anymore. So, I think grandma may be buying them an ice cream ball.

I've been looking for a custom bow holder for awhile now but I'm far to cheap to pay $30-$50 for one. So, i decided to make one myself. Here's how...
What you'll need
-A plaque of some sorts (I bought mine at walmart for $3.xx)
-Scrapbook paper (make sure it's card stock and not a thin piece of paper)
-Modge podge (or something similar)
-A paint brush
-Ribbon (I'd suggest using two different ribbons to make it thick enough for all types of clips to hold onto).
-Chipboard letters (really you could use anything)
-Decorative touch for the bottom of the ribbon. (I used wooden stars)
-Hot glue gun
-Trace the shape of the plaque onto the scrapbook paper and cut it out. The paper should now be the same shape and size as the plaque
-Paint the plaque and the stars
-Coat the top of the plaque with the Modge Podge and adhere the scrapbook paper
-Use Modge Podge to add the chipboard letters
-Cut the ribbon to the length you'd like and use a hot glue gun to glue the two ribbons together.
-Use the glue gun to glue the ribbon to the back of the plaque
-Glue the stars to the bottom of the ribbon with the glue gun.
Ta-Daa! Your done!
I did take pictures showing every step but I seem to have lost them. Sorry
I hope I explained that clearly if not let me know and if you happen to make one send me a picture.
Here's the final product. I think it will look nice in her sage green room.
I tried adding some ribbon for a little extra pazazz but the colors competed to much and it made it a little to busy. It might work with a different paper or plaque though.
It's about 93 and humid outside so, time for a little water fun. Instead of pulling out the sprinkler I thought we'd do something a little different and have a car wash. I had Kaden make a sign but as you can tell he added a line to the C making it an ear wash. lol
Micah was more interested in the bubbles then washing the cars.
Mean old mom spraying down the kids with cold water!
Now if I could only teach them to wash my car we'd be all set.

We haven't done to much in the past few days because the kids have been passing around a stomach bug but yesterday I decided we needed to have a little fun. I sent up a tent in the living room and pretended we're camping. The plan was to eat franks and beans "camp food" for dinner but I couldn't find the beans so I had to substituted mac-n-cheese (healthy right). The boys were really missing Shaun, he's in Boston for a funeral so this helped take there minds off of missing him. Since It going to be a LLLLLOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time before we go camping for real this we'll have to do.

I'm at my wits end with Kaden this week. I caught him with the sunblock and took it away and told him how dangerous it was and not to touch it again. Well then I was running around the house trying to get us ready to head to the mall and I heard Micah crying. When I got in the room his eye's were bright red and his nose was running and Kaden was standing there with the sunblock in his hand. I called poison control and they told me to flush his eyes out with water for 5-6 minutes. The poor kid was screaming the whole time. They told me his eyes should start to look better in about an hour but would take awhile to completely clear up when he woke up from his nap at 4:30 his face was still pretty red and swollen so I called the Dr. The nurse told me to use cold compresses and give him some benadryl. Poor guy still looks a little puffy today but he's definitely much better.
I'm sure Kaden wasn't trying to hurt him. I'm guessing he was just trying to put some sunblock on him but I've been having a really hard time with him defying me lately.
On a side note it was banana boat kids tear free. Not so tear free if it gets sprayed directly into your face though. I think we're gonna stick to the lotion from now on.
Kadens leg looks much better. I'm still not sure what it was. No one else was bit. He is still complaining that his stomach hurts so I'm not sure what's up there but I'll give it a couple more days before I call the Dr.
I know it's just a drop in the bucket but I've been working out everyday and eating better and as of today I'm down 10lbs! My next goal is to be a size smaller for the two weddings we're going to in September. So, if you see me stuffing my face, smack me!

I had some bananas that were about to go bad so I thought I'd try something new. Here's the recipe...
-2 ripe bananas
-2 tablespoons of lemon juice
-Cut the bananas into thin slices
-Coat slices in lemon juice
-Bake banana slices on a greased pan in a 200 degree oven, turning every half hour and watching out for burning. Remove when they are crispy, cool, and store in an airtight container.
They're good but they taste nothing like the ones you buy in the store. Those are fried and very fatty so of course they taste good!
I did have to cook them for a lot longer then the recipe called for and I think next time I may turn up the heat a bit to try to get them a little crispier but all in all they were a good healthy snack for the kids.

Well, we haven't done to much for the past few days because Kaden's been sick. Friday morning he started throwing up. That continued through Sat and by Sunday he had stopped throwing up but had no energy and spent the day laying around with a fever and I noticed a little blister on his lip. This morning he said his leg hurt and pointed to a huge bug bite looking thing. It's about 3 inches in diameter, has a white center and a red ring around the outside. Since then I have found more "bites" one on his temple that's about the size of a half dollar, one on his knee that's about the size of a quarter and one on the bottom of his foot that's about the size of a dime. If it's bug bites I have no idea where they're coming from because he hasn't been outside in days and nobody else has any. I called the Dr's office and they said to use neosporin and benadryl for the next two days and if it's not any better they will get me in on Thursday. Of course they gave me all the signs of infection to look for blablabla. The poor kid still says he doesn't feel good and wont even let me touch his leg because it hurts. I feel so bad for him!
Here's the worst "bite". He has been itching it so that may be adding to the redness.
And here's the blister on his lip.
